Ducati Diavel Hands-Free Ignition two(2) Fobs and Key Set
NEW OEM Complete replacement Hands-Free Control Unit (HFCU) Ignition with 3 keys. Two(2) Hands-Free fobs (Active), 1 red key (Passive). These come pre-programmed, cut and ready to install and run. NO programming or key cutting needed to run bike after install.
If buying this for your Multistrada please note that you will need to swap the lid with the lock cylinder into your original plastic base. You can do this modification yourself or can be done by a locksmith, Reason being is that the mounting bases re not the same but the lid and internals are identical.
Gen1 vs Gen2 bikes. You can use this Gen1 kit on your Gen2 bike without any issue. the ONLY difference is the Hands Free Fob design. Both Gen1 and Gen2 fobs work on the same 868Mhz frequency and use the same 80Bit encryption transponder. We prefer the Gen1 fobs because the blades are stronger and not as easily broken as the Gen2 fobs.
